I missed Shawns alert early this morning by about an hour but still managed to take advantage of the EUR/USD. Also managed a little success on the Cable also.

I'm up about a cool grand on the day in my mini account and am about to close out the last of my EUR/USD and take your advise and wait for the retracement and then reenter at 1.1200.

Guys-

I've had the software for about 3 weeks and until now have only lurked in this
group.

I'm still trading my demo account.

The first week I didn't know what I was doing. From typos to stupid mistakes...
I made them all... and I lost bigtime.

The second week I got smarter. I tested my limits and tried everything I could to figure out or break the system. I read the boards and listened to the fxme radio shows every day and LOVE the PremireFX radio show. I learned so much from the extra detail given on the broadcast. I've also spent LOTS of time just watching the charts to "get a feel" for what was going on. I broke even.

Now in my third week - I have learned to get the emotions out of the way and be more disciplined. I'm developing a trading style and have develoed a plan to stick withand beginning to understand how market works - or doesn't work.

I have now recoved ALL of my losses. My goal was to go live with real money as soon as I was profitable in my demo plus 3%. It looks like I'll be going live next week with a mini until I build above $5,000.

CAUTION!!! I posted a note on my computer to remind myself it's easy to get caught up in things and think I actually know what I'm doing. WRONG! I'm a total newbie - the note keeps me honest.

During the last couple of weeks I've learned a few things...

Don't overthink things.
A good trade is a good trade. When you see it .. go for it. It's not that you can't profit from the others... but it's at your own risk.

Ask Questions and listen VERY carefully

The guys on the radio shows really know their stuff. Listen to the answers to
questions.. but really pay attention to the comments between the answers and
you'll find some real gems.

PremiereFX alerts have worked for well for me. I live in Orlando and I think I
owe Scott Norris a couple of lunches.

Starbucks Moment
When I attended my very first seminar Mike said to look for the Wow! Well I've
added to it. After I learned the basics - ALL of my losses are due to my emotions. I would get caught up in my gains or losses and roll the dice a little more. WRONG! Now I have a new strategy. When I successfully profit from a trade I take a trip to Starbucks to celebrate. By the time I get home I'm relaxed and ready to look for the next opportunity.

I learned that there is a lot to learn to make a profit in the 4X and am totally convinced of it's potential. The training alone has been worth the investment.

One of my motivations for writing this post is to committ myself to mastering
the 4X Made Easyt and have amazing success in the ForEx. Win, lose or
draw... I'm going to share it all. More soon.

Scott, I did put in a resting order on the EUR/USD and was able to capture 16 pips in my real mini. It is great to receive the alerts that help us become aware of what is going on as well as the actual tradesyou are making. Sometimes you mention things we don't even think of.

So much to learn! Thanks to Linda for the question going long on the CHF for a longer term trade as I was wondering about that also.

You asked how we did today. I did fine. I have a mini account and had
4 lots in on the Euro/usd today and 2 lots of the GBP/usd. I Made $117 profit total. I did get out 1/2 positions as it started to turn around and if I had just stayed in I could have made more since it went back up for a bit but I am not complaining since I made more in 1/2 hour than I could have made working a job today.

What a tool and what a fantastic show ! I am a newbie who never traded a cent in any market. Bought the package a couple of days ago, not even in training yet, not even have a demo account, just listening to you guys and learning from the web site. Using the 4XME software and what skills I learn from you guys, I spotted the upward trend of the EURO/USD pair this morning, and the down trend of the USD/CAD pair, and just simulate trading on paper manually (as I have no demo account yet). I gained 88 pips by shorting USD/CAD and 42 by longing EURO/USD. Wow! Looking forward to the training on Friday and perfect my skill.

Question: please show how you arrive at the support & resistence level so fast, I have not mastered the skill yet.

Wow, what a great day of trading. This morning I was able to bag 91 PIPs in paper trading. After a couple of weeks of truly struggling with the software and recognizing trades, I believe that I’m starting to see the FAS setups and not rushing into trades.

I picked up 33 PIPs in the GBP, 13 in the CAD, 24 in the CHF, and 21 in the EUR. All trades were short-term trades using the super active settings.

I used the money manager to determine my stops and keep in a couple of trades this morning that began to reverse on me, and once the reversal was over and the move down resumed I added a lot to pick up more PIPs on the move back down.

Scott, great call on the EUR today.

Just wanted to review my trades from this AM. I picked up 81 PIPs. Not bad with the market that we’ve been trading lately, but should have been a lot more.

I picked up 5 PIPs in the CAD, 12 in the EUR, 16 in the GBP and 48 in the CHF. I did a good job of getting in the trades using a FAST setup in the super active setting at virtually the same time that Scott issued his alert. All markets started moving in my favor quickly. In about 10 minutes, I was about 100 PIPs. I was getting really nervous considering how many times we’ve seen moves start and just fizzle out the last couple of weeks.

The 3 and 5 Min charts started to show a slight retracement so I closed out my positions capturing the 81 PIPs.
